Just bought this television to upgrade from a 32" Goodmans. It's decent value for money but one problem I am having is with the USB interface. In the majority of advertisements for this model (including on the LG website itself) the specs claim that the usb interface supports video playback, but there only seems to be menus for pictures and music.
I called LG support and the woman I spoke to says that the television definitely does not support video playback through USB and that there must be a misprint in the advertisements. Bit of a disapppointment since this feature was one of my main reasons for buying this television.
Overall as I said before this is a very good television for the price, but advertising usb video playback when the model does not support it is not good practice!
I know it doesn't really help matters but what the LG support woman said was right, it doesn't support video playback, unfortunately because of the release of the new models and update of the website there are a few mistakes which I'm not going to defend LG for, but they are being ironed out. The LD450 doesn't list video playback in its features list, but divxHD has managed to find it's way into the USB playback options in the more detailed spec.
You can probably hack the ability in the service menu, but getting to the service menu is more complicated that it used to be, I'm not sure how to do it myself.
Nadam se da će netko uspjeti pronaći način za ulazak u SERVICE MENU..i rešiti ovaj "problem"
